Somewhere in the midst of this, attending a funeral for a distant relative at which part of the Delaporta family happened to be at, he met Thea Eleni and finding her already to be married, inquired of her if she had any sisters! And thus began his travel between Schenectady and Syracuse in dating she who would become his future wife.
Once married to the Delaporta side, and initially working 2 jobs to get a start going, it was Uncle Angelo who took Demo in, now with his Accounting background, to be Angelo's main financial right-hand-man. From his new exemplar in BUSINESS, he not only had a wonderfully steady and secure income, but also saw and learned how Uncle Angelo worked the field in Syracuse in the business world. By his own intelligence and his amiable personality, and hard-work ethic, he developed rapidly in a multidimensional capacity in all things Finance.
Then, some years later, as he related the story to Timothy in the mid-1990's: "One day Uncle Angelo called me in to sit with him. Straight-away he said, 'I want to wind-up everything. Do whatever is necessary to close-up all our concerns. Let me know how long this will take, but make it happen as soon as possible.'....Everything?'....."Yes, Everything. I'm done.' ...I was shocked, of course, I didn't know what I would do next. But it turned-out to be for the best as I opened my own Office and own Accounting practice."
